There’s Nothing Better
In this project, I look at the carefully crafted advertising world, repurposing screenshots from commercials to weave unsettling narratives that lurk beneath the surface of our consumer culture. By isolating moments, we reveal hidden tensions, anxieties, and darker implications often masked by the glossy veneer of promotional content. These images become unsettling, bizarre and often aggressive.
These reimagined narratives reflect our fears, desires, and the consequences of A consumerist-led world. Through this work, I invite viewers to question the images we’re bombarded with daily, to look beyond the intended message, and to consider the complex, often disquieting stories that emerge when we strip away the context of sell and sell and confront the bare visual language of advertising.
