140

Through the windows of London’s 140 bus, I capture the city’s pulse in fleeting frames. This project is a visual diary of repeated journeys, each trip revealing new fragments of lives unfolding along the familiar route. The images, shot through glass smudged with the breath of countless passengers, offer tantalising glimpses into the stories of strangers—moments of joy, solitude, and everything in between.

As the bus weaves through London’s diverse neighbourhoods, from Harrow to Heathrow, these snapshots build a kaleidoscopic portrait of urban existence. They speak to the transient nature of city life, where narratives intersect briefly before diverging again. In these images, the mundane becomes poetic, the overlooked becomes significant, and the rhythm of London’s heartbeat is visible in all its complex, unknowable beauty.
